The place where memories are made

For generations the Kenville Memorial Hall has been the hub of the community: the place where special occasions are celebrated, meetings held, plays enacted, curling banquets enjoyed, and dances that rattle the rafters. Through the years, friendships were made, romances developed, new-comers were welcomed. And today the walls continue to echo with the happy sounds of people having fun.
Volunteers have been the mainstay of the hall, working to make sure the place stays in good shape. For the past two years, they have raised money to incorporate a wheelchair entrance and sidewalk which was completed in August of 2010, ensuring access to everyone.
The Community Foundation of Swan Valley is pleased to have been a part of this project through their granting program.
